Chinese compromise domains ranging from housekeeping and babysitting services to industrial machinery

Nearly every day new domains are acquired with company names like Nehe Maternity Matron's Housekeeping, Wengniu Teqi Housekeeping Services, Co., Ltd. and many others.

 

All are using the same IP Record No of 18dfds740-2. Every domain has a fake company name.

Over 200 domains within a 12 month period all with new fake housekeeping names and all traffic and data heading back to Beijing 

Researching this from many different machines and networks surprisingly only a VPN IP from Northern Virginia was blocked on any sites.

The domains are being acquired through multiple registrars and hosted all over the world. 

Twitter is a group favorite. Twitter has been banned in China since 2009.

Premium short domain names also include variants of Facebook, Amazon, Netflix and others...

Over 200 domains within a 12 month period. They are even using Congress on Twitter dotcom. Many of the hosts and registrars are famous for hosting and deploying malware. The links, files and traffic patterns are discernable. Malspam quickly came to a new research email once registered with one of the shams and traced back to China.

The cover for this article is TheStock-Exchange[.]com site which has changed this week from the babysitting/housekeeping platform to a Chinese recruiting agency with several names as well. After several months of searching and countless misdirections the immutable data packets and domain traffic point to Beijing. An office building to be specific. After several contact attempts neither Luminaire, Lightning, any babysitters or communist party agents were available but probably listening. I got hung up on several times. Mention re-education and the call is abruptly over.

The customer service hotline was ice cold. So was everyone else.

Now recruiting in all areas and provinces of China including Xinjiang. 

The extensive network and multiple addresses reek of the panda with traces to Beijing.  All phone numbers are in Beijing with a call center in Germany another favorite asset. Other fake companies are being utilized in different industries and are following the same modus operandi including an industrial packing company which is active in attempting to sell to United States based companies.

I have not been able to locate any of the non-existent packaging equipment export companies but they do respond. All the files, links and traffic patterns are the same. They will respond for a quote but beware of malspam that will follow.

My favorite name so far is Guangzong Multifunctional Pillow Packaging Machine Factory. It is easy to find the air quality in Guangzong, China. Finding information about the packing company is another story. Shenzhen has no listing either.

None of the industrial packing company names are real or have any listings in any of the major Chinese exporters websites or shipping port transfer agents. One way or another the data points to this one block in Beijing, 

Visitors beware there is a bit of a pattern developing.

Several new social media accounts have been unveiled and are currently being offered for sale online. This isn't taking place on the DarkWeb but right here on the ClearNet. One Twitter account with up to 185k followers is for sale. A Facebook fans page and a YouTube channel are also available. Topping the intrigue list is the public figure Instagram account.

I have 90 followers on Twitter and reporting a fake account for sale with 90k followers. How important exactly are followers? This is a great time to bring up the fake infosec Twitter female account that had 50k followers. Theses accounts are around. Don't automatically dismiss a small account or validate a larger one just by the followers. Remember I have 90 followers. 

As of press time the site "Twitter Sale' is still active.

Where Do Banned Companies Go?

The Ant Group IPO is being restructured.

Jack Ma can look back at his infamous "pawn shops" comment in Shanghai as the final straw as President Xi Jinping pulled the plug on the record IPO. The outspoken Mr. Ma can only abide and wait for word from Mr. Jinping now. Five new mysterious shareholders were requested to be added late before the hook. Several of the shareholders are virtually unknown.

Those shareholders hold the key. The Ant Group IPO will be coming soon.

Chinese officials in Beijing have cracked down on technology controls right before the ByteDance TikTok deal ran into issues. The US department of Defense is still weighing in and out of court on the matter. Jack Ma spoke in Shanghai in October 2020 and berated many before being benched. 

President Xi Jinping showed his power during the flip flop of TikTok which should have been a flashing red signal for Mr. Ma. TikTok is still battling for survival.

Where do Banned Companies Go?

The United States has banned many companies, subsidiaries and people from doing business. Many other measures, companies and people will be barred in the last weeks of this current administration.

What does a company do if it is banned?  Surveillance is big business. Leon Technology Co Ltd exports their systems to over 50 countries around the world including Congo, the United Arab Emirates and Zimbabwe. 

Leon Technology Co Ltd. headquartered out of Xinjiang, China and has some amazing capabilities.

Leon is headquartered in Xinjiang, China with website traffic routed to Hong Kong servers. Leon has technology solutions and services combining software from Beijing based Megvii and another software company called SenseTime bundled in with their camera systems for a one stop surveillance solution. Leon has built combined surveillance systems with tracking and tracing software so powerful and detailed that it can determine your ethnicity.

Reeducation or Concentration?

Technology can be a weapon in evil hands. Leon has been investigated for what the company and Beijing call reeducation centers for Uighur Muslims. The rest of the world has a different term for it.

Over the past year many companies have been moving their corporate bases and obfuscating their origins to continue selling their products. For an example of the adventures of  "Leon Technology," look no further than LinkedIn. The companies appear to be connected.

No response for comment was issued from any of the companies involved before press time. This Leon Technology is based in Shenzhen, Beijing, Hangzhou, or Xinjiang? The company is either 2 years old or over 20. One company executive lists 25 years of service for Leon Technology.

Capital and Companies are on The Move.

Capital and companies are moving. There is a mass rebranding of capital and corporate identities.

Prior year investments into Hong Kong and Taiwan are now flooding into countries like Cambodia, Myanmar and Vietnam. Saigon High-tech Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Hoa Lake Hi-tech Park in Hanoi and even the smaller Da Nang High-tech Park are buzzing with activity. Two out of the three have questionable new arrivals. 

Some companies moving into Vietnam and Cambodia are well know like Mitsubishi, others are not. Many seem to be diverse like Cambodian New Juihuan Trading Co Ltd. Others are more opaque. 

Many companies appear to be new with little knowledge and new unknown shareholders and chain of command but big bank rolls. One new shareholder has obvious dubious underworld ties and that is a mild understatement. Yatai International is just one example with dubious ties in the area. Yatai  primarily deals with gaming and other investment services.

Cambodia has embarked on an aggressive campaign to draw investment into Cambodia. Special economic zones are set up all over the south east region. China has set an additional 50 special economic zones as part of their aggressive belt and road initiative. Follow the casino road and the money trail.

Cambodia has approximately 30 casinos with another 70 being planned. The technology parks and initiatives are growing as well. Japanese entrepreneur Izuka Takeshi has an interesting venture at Kirirom University training Cambodians for free in computer science and cybersecurity with job offers in Japan upon graduation. By all accounts a worthwhile venture for all parties involved.

There are a few new trails to traverse to get to the bottom of the shell flipping challenges of today.

Several new leads have been uncovered with complex twists and ties.   

This type of entanglement would have scared Einstein as well.

The Great Social Divide of 2020.

Stock markets closed at or near record highs on Black Friday one day after a record amount of people are struggling from food insecurity. The unemployment rate remains historically high according the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The truth is no one actually knows the exact number due to skewed logic and the what data you are excluding. Federal minimum wage is still $7.25 per hour.

Divide (noun) A wide divergence between two groups producing tension and hostility.
Those who have and those who have not.

A sampling of the unemployment lunacy.

The numbers vary between 12.5 and 51 million people currently unemployed in the last few months.
Which number is accurate now?

What does this have to do with cybersecurity or technology?

It's Not Fight or Flight, It Is Food or Phone.

With food banks across the country providing records of numbers of people this Thanksgiving, is the BLS number correct at only 12.5 million unemployed? Depends what numbers you are using and who you are excluding. Is the person who has lost or didn't even qualify for unemployment counted?

There is no denying the visual evidence.

Pictures tell a different story of the actual situation.

Form state to state in this great land people are struggling and dealing with food insecurity.

The federal reserve is pumping massive amounts of liquidity into the tock market and has created not only an artificial bubble of massive proportions, it will create social inequities for years to come.

The Federal Reserve has pumped in records amount of liquidity into the stock market hoping for an economic turnaround. Corporations and business are investing, closing unprofitable locations or units and laying people off now. Walt Disney just increased the amount of people they are laying off to 32,000 people.

The jobs available are at ridiculously low pay rates while stocks are at all time highs and shareholders are rejoicing. When will the average person rejoice?

Forward Looking?

The stock market is a forward looking mechanism, or so the story goes, of the economic situation going forward approximately six months. Corporations are laying off with complete lack of empathy.

Other than the medical and technological fields that are hiring, many corporations that are hiring are paying below $15 an hour. That would suffice for a second job and not as a primary income.

That is the big sell that there are plenty of jobs available. There does come a point when people will realize that they are starting back with nothing and it will take two or three of these jobs to fulfill their families needs.

Jobs are easily eliminated when the need to create more shareholder value arises. That is a constant.

Is it sunny or raining in Philadelphia?
Is it sunny or raining everywhere?

Shareholder Value at All Costs.

It is not the worker you are laying off that is the problem. The problem is lack of leadership in your company. The cost is the average person's life you are playing with to enrich shareholders. 

The Great Social Divide continues to grow...

If you had any stocks or Bitcoin in any accounts before or during 2020 it has been an incredible year.

For the tens of millions who are unemployed now they are asking themselves when will they ever get back to normal? If you are starting to invest at record highs it may be a dangerous time. It will take the average person months to ever have anything? What about a smartphone or even food?

How is it everyone saw the low of 2008 and not one person can see this huge Social and Economic Bubble forming now?

The question is not that millions are unable to eat this Thanksgiving and without income, those are facts. Who will be able to buy Amazon's new Wi-Fi router at $599 or an iPhone...or anything?

Are We Going to Leave Everyone Else Behind?

How much is that new must-have tech?

If millions of people are unable to eat today, how can anyone buy a new phone, or anything next month, or six months from now?

Black Friday sales will be skewed. People with money are buying while millions are unable to even eat this holiday season. People who can't eat do not have income, a retirement account or stocks are not buying anything.

If I am unable to eat today, I am certainly not buying new technology, or anything for that matter tomorrow, or next month, or...

It is no accident that the definition of divide is placed here again.

Millions are starting back from zero with "jobs" paying between $7.25 to $15 an hour and no assets and many are unskilled at the moment to fill the better paying jobs. A waiter is not going into the medical field in three to six months.

The Great Social Divide is widening like a crack between tectonic plates during an earthquake.

15 to 50 million people in the United States are staring back from ZERO. It will take more than six months to buy any durable, let alone any non durable. 

How much is that new iPhone again?

2021 is not going to be a walk in the park for the average American. Mr. Biden has a difficult challenge going forward, as do many around the world and here in The United States of America.

Please don't call it the divided states. People are aware of the Pandemic and the tens of millions struggling, aren't they?

    If you were in a hot air balloon and it had a hole in it, wouldn't you try and fix it right away?

    What about several holes?

The social madness of 2020. The Social Bubble.

The social madness online during the pandemic peaked with election counting rumors, blatant lies and malicious calls to action.

 Internet changes ahead?

Arguably we are in one of the most difficult periods in American history.  

Covid-19, racism, geopolitical risks, social injustice, fake news, reviews and accounts, and daily cyber attacks, just to name a few. How will history reflect on this perilous time? 

Will it be edited for content? Fact checked? Are we in several bubbles? 

Are we in a Super Bubble?

How we respond will dictate our future.

Back to the frog and the boiling pot of water.

How many times have you seen an ad touting a job for $10? Politicians have argued this point this week specifically. Why pay people to stay home when jobs are available?

Companies big and small have many more jobs available. Corporate answers would be competitive wages and above market. $12-14 no doubt. Benefits as well?

$10 an hour for a singe parent of two is below the FPL, Federal Poverty Line. 

How many ads have you seen below the Federal Poverty Line? The Federal minimum wage has not increased since July, 2009. During that time, many S&P 500 companies have expanded and continue to push these so called jobs. It is not a job, it is a joke. 

Doubling the minimum wage might still be below the Federal Poverty Line. Lets do the math.

Would you be able to live on $14.50 an hour? If you are unable to pay your bills you are surely not investing in the stock market, Has that remained the same since 2009?

If your child has to live with you because they only have one full time job, that is a huge red flag. Financially behind means technologically behind and therefore behind overall.

We are arguably in one of the most turbulent times in American history.

Stalled international mergers, or robbery from some perspectives are another red flag. TikTok comes to mind. SMIC is another name about to be reclassified. Major ramifications in several industries are underway. Decoupling technologies are detrimental worldwide. 

There is no winner in the battle for it all. 

The battle for our data and our integrity are at stake. Technology is readily available to not only push content, but to manipulate, alter and misdirect it to a desired endpoint. Not to mention the varieties that require ransom to release what is righfully yours. A ransomware attack in Dusseldorf, Germany earlier this month caused the death of a woman. It is life and death now, in many regards.

The battle for what is right, and what is real is underway.

Justice is blind, injustice is not.

Now is the time to change many outdated policies and procedures.

Many needed changes are coming. We are not only at the precipice of technological decoupling, we are at a major crossroad in history. We are all just to busy to notice everything right now. 

The year 2020 has been overwhelming at times.

Now is the time to patch all the holes in all the bubbles.
